Guide to use the errors heat map as a profesional
One of the most exciting features in the latest update in the DART Climbing app.

Hey speedclimber! Today we're gonna show you how to use the errors heat map at it's best to get better results faster!
It consists of the map of the speed route with a coloring function that gives you the opportunity to understand with a quick glimpse where you perform better or worse on the wall.
The colors aspect works like the following:
Grey: Very few errors, only 0-25% of max errors
Yellow: Few errors, from 25 to 50 % of the total number of errors done per limb on the hold with the most errors.
Orange: Watch it! Probably you made a bit more mistakes than usual on that hold, from 50 to 75% of the max errors per hold/limb
Red: Check it deeply! That hold is probably one of the factors that's holding you back from your PR. 75-100%
How can you get even more from that heat map? When you check the red holds, don't focus uniquely on that specific hold but check even the previous holds and the holds after that move.
If you see a red in the center yellow on top and bottom pattern try to check the whole section instead of only the red hold. Doing that makes you understand better the origin of the error and how to correct not only the specific point but even the points before and after.
If you see a red on top yellow tail under that hold, check all the approaching part of the move, probably the final error is generated by a series of incorrect or unbalanced moves that brings you to that final error.
Remember that you set the standard, so if for you an error is a misplacement of a foot of a few centimeters that's fine! If for you an error is only when you miss an hold, that's fine! The important thing is that you always keep the same standard to evaluate an error to have always the best statistics possible for your errors heat map!
